DEVELOPING ANALYTICAL TOOLS TO STUDY ELECTROPHYSIOLOGICAL SIGNALS
Studying cortical electrophysiological signals reveal many useful facts about brain’s mechanisms. One of the research lines in our lab is to develop measures to quantify different features of these signals. For instance we are developing measures to quantify the level at which different frequencies of local field potentials (LFP) are locked to each other. To do this we use digital signal processing as well as probability theory tools.
